MY STORY

My saving grace is connecting with my inner self and higher power. As a result my passion is to lead others into experiences uniting them with their inner force.

One of the greatest experiences of my life was living and studying for five years at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health (1984-1989).

It was total immersion in the yogic lifestyle. The day began with yoga, pranayama and meditation. This was followed by Karma yoga (selfless service) and trainings in almost every aspect of holistic health. Our meals were eaten in silence. At the day's end we had Satsang, where we chanted, danced, received Shakti-pat and darshan (teachings) from the guru, Kripalu's founder, Amrit Desai. 

 

I was forever transformed and what I learned there influenced everything I have done since. It has been my joy to share the practices, tools and mindset with others.

 

I founded Inner Force Yoga and Awesome Possum Yoga for children. I have been teaching for more than 30 years.

 

Inner Force yoga is a compassionate style of gentle and dynamic poses interspersed with moments of stillness. This unique combination leaves one feeling exquisitely present, whole, joyful and at peace. Appropriate for all levels and a must for beginners.
